Music Ministries

“Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song.” (Psalm 95:2)

The Mission of the Music and Worship Arts Ministry at Central is to provide meaningful spiritual worship experiences that honor God.

Adult Choir sings periodically at the 11:00 Traditional Worship Service.  It is open to high school students through adults.  The choir also brings seasonal presentations at Advent, Lent, and other church holidays.  Rehearsal is at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Jubilate Children’s Choir is for children kindergarten through 2nd grade.  This vocal choir meets during Wednesday Night Live at 5:00 p.m.

Praise Band members rehearse at different times. Call Dawn Spragg for open positions.

S.I.G.H.T. Youth Choir (Singing in God’s House Together) is open to students in grades 6th through 12th grades.  They sing monthly during the school year in one of the three worship services.  The youth choir is active in our annual dinner theater and presents a bi-annual Music Arts Camp in cities around the U.S., Europe, and Latin America. SIGHT Youth Choir rehearses at 4:00 p.m. on Sundays. Second SIGHT is an ensemble for those singers who wish to go a little deeper into youth choral music.  The youth choirs are directed by Rev. Les Oliver.

Handbell Music Ministries include the Generations Ringers for ages junior high through high school (meeting Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m.), SIGHT Ringers for youth grades 6th-12th (meeting Sunday evenings in conjunction with the youth music program), Genesis Ringers for grades 3rd-5th (meeting during Wednesday Night Live), and various solos and ensembles.

Contemporary Worship Praise Team  Our vision is to be a team that helps create an active, energetic, and spirit-filled worship dedicated to experiencing God’s presence and message through music.
