What We Believe

Here at Central, we are a proud member of the United Methodist Church, the 2^nd largest protestant denomination in the country with almost 8 million members.  You can find more about what United Methodists believe here.  Specific to our church is our mission statement, Connecting People to Christ.  We truly believe that God is calling us to make a difference in our community and beyond in these five areas:

• ·      Discipleship:  Committing to help people grow in the knowledge and love of God
• ·      Service:  Commissioning every member to be in ministry
• ·      Fellowship:  Cultivating an atmosphere of love and acceptance
• ·      Evangelism:  Calling people to faith in Jesus Christ
• ·      Worship:  Celebrating God’s presence among us
